Africa and Mural Project preview

  1. I thought the power point was amazing. I loved all the really cool photos of the animals and it's just amazing how close and how good of photos the photographer got of all the wildlife in Africa.

       3.  This photo is my favorite because to me, It's the coolest one. Just the way that it captured the awesome background while also getting the lion staring out into it is just amazing.

       4. Rule of thirds: The lion is in the lower right positions of the picture.
Lines: The lines created from the sun coming through the horizon lead to the lion looking out on the horizon.
        5.
            (a) He uses a Pentax 67II with only two fixed lenses.
            (b) He didn't want just documentary or action/drama filled pictures. He just wanted to simply show the       animals in the state of Being before they weren't any more.
            (c) To record a visually poetic last testament to the wild animals and places there before they are gone
            (d) "The photos are my elegy to these beautiful creatures, to this wrenchingly beautiful world that is steadily, tragically vanishing before our eyes."
