  1. A. This image is the most powerful on because it shows the bond that Ian and his brothers had. It shows how sad they were that Ian was leaving and how much they were going to miss him.

B. Set #1 At home in Denver - #1-#9
     Set #2 At Basic Training - #10 - #30
     Set #3 At In Iraq - #51 - #70
     Set #4 Back in Denver - #71 - 83
Set #2 was the most powerful because it showed how he came from being a kid to a soldier. It shows how hard he worked and also what he went through to finally become what he wanted to be.

C.  The photos work together to tell a story by chronologically showing what he went through during his experience. The photos show all of the peoples emotions and how Ian going to the army really effected everybody.

3.
A. Present Tense.
B. The captions let you know exactly what;s happening. They also give you dialogue so you know what was being said during the time the photo was taken. This helps really understand what you're looking at.

4.

5. A. The videos enhance the photos by letting you know how it looked while the photo was going on but in real time.
B. Videos are better than photos in the way that you can see exactly what the people were doing at that point in time.
C. Photos are better than videos in the way that they capture just one particular moment and you get much better quality of the still point in time.
